I cant deny that this country was prospering under Clinton, but what did he do to cause it? I can deny that this country isnt prosering under Bush, because as a small business owner, I have never done better. Clinton also did not have half as much on his plate as Bush does right now. Sure, there was a bombing at the world trade center, but Clinton did nothing. The U.S.S. Cole? Clinton did nothing. The bombing of a U.S. embassy, Clinton did nothing. I think you are comparing apples and oranges.

Prospered how? Financially and economically?
If you retards believe that, than you obviously have NO grasp of basic economic principles. The economy is cyclical and Slick Willie just happened to be in office when it was on the upswing. It had nothing to do with his "genius" policies or anything like that. Instead, he fooled everyone into a false sense of security and made people believe everything was going great because of our economy, which, by the way, was artificially inflated due to the dot com/tech stocks. Artificial/paper earnings that never existed were used to fuel non existent growth! When that crashed in 2000, he was convieniently out of office. And his turning a blind eye to terrorism for years helped precipitate 9/11. You are fooling yourselves into believing the US under Clinton was some kind of Utopian paradise!
Bush has made some really stupid decisions and mistakes in office, but he inherited a HUGE mess from Billy Boy.
You think FEMA broke overnight? Or has it been in a sad state of affairs for years? Things don't just go to pot overnight in the US government folks. Its funny how people have selective memory and choose to forget the Oklahoma City Bombing, Waco/Branch Davidian Fiasco, the 1st WTC bombing, the Soamlia Debacle, the USS Cole Bombing, the twin African Embassy Bombings, the USAF Barracks Bombing in Saudi Arabia....and the list goes on.
Those were all failures in the government that have existed for years, and you can't really blame Clinton for the Okla City or Waco thing, but the rest of those attacks were ALL progressively more intense attacks against the US, and Bill turned a blind eye to them all, which gave terrorists carte blanche to initiate a 9/11.
Please don't send another Clinton! Anything else but that!

Why don't you look at the facts:
Unemployment is lower than at any time during Clinton's terms
Retail sales have met or exceeded all predictions
New home ownership is the highest it's been since post WWII
Clinton rode in on Bush I's/Reagan's economic policies and took credit for them himself. Then due to all his new taxes left Bush II with a recession, which he managed to turn around astoundingly fast in spite of 9/11.
The richest 20% of this country pay 75% of the annual taxes - the higher their rates are the less they spend therefore stalling the economy or they move their $ to overseas markets. Look at yourself - you would have been paying more taxes under Clinton, less take home. Less taxes under Bush means more take home pay - where have you spent the excess? A new car means factory workers keep their jobs, more 'nights out' stimulate your local economy - restaurants/bars... GET IT?

Perhaps you should get some facts before making such claims.
Unemployment is lower now than it was under Clinton. Taxes are lower now than they were under Clinton. More people than ever are home owners. There are a hundred other factors that I could mention, but you should really do your own homework.
Don't just listen to the liberal media. Do some research and get the numbers.
BTW - If Hillary does come back to the White House, can she please return all of the things she stole when she left?

Can't deny we prospered under Clinton, but our business went ballistic the week after Bush lowered taxes. Our customer list keeps expanding. Gave me some discretionary income which I spent at other businesses.

Was it the when the market crashed under clinton? Or all the jobs going overseas during clinton? Was it when the recession started under clinton? When was it that I prospered? You need to recheck your facts there.

be careful what you wish for... I am as radical as anyone on this site ( check my questions and answers ) and I rue the day that Hillary Rodham Clinton steps up..
Check her voting record, her stance on Iraq.. her comments leading up to Iraq... that's why I always get a chuckle out of hard right wingers slamming Hillary.. she is one of them ?
