Get in touch with Friend of the Court. As long as there was a child support order, it is still valid, and he owes the money. The time is immaterial.

The time frame is up. You should tried why the son was under 18. Now that he is grown you will not be able to get back child support because you don't need it. The child is grown.

Most states have a statute of limitations that ends at 10 years after the age of majority. Go online to find your state office of support enforcement. Depending on whether there was a state collection agency involved, you may have legal action to file. But, you most likely missed the deadline.

If you didn't have a court ordered support before the child was 18, than you can't get back support.
Back support is from the unpaid court ordered support.

Why ask for child support when you no longer have a CHILD to SUPPORT. If there was never an order he doesn't owe you anything and he never would have owed you anything anyway- thats YOUR SON'S money. I hate people like you.
