Yes. I've just finished reading 'A Christmas Carol' and Cricket On the Hearth' by Charles Dickens.
Now I'm re-reading 'The Chronicles of Narnia', then I think I'll re-read the 'Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy' books.

Lately I found Wally Lamb books to be very interesting.

The one I just completed was Wally Lamb's
Couldn't Keep It To Myself. A real life eye opener.

I know This Much Is True is also a good read.

His other one, She's Come Undone is okay, but
the top two above are very good. Check them out.
You'll be glad you did.

Dave Barry has a really funny book called "Big Trouble". If you want something more serious, "Cane River" is very good. I also really like "The Good Earth". Or anything by Alice Hoffman.

I read a lot, but it's hard to answer your question. What genre do you like to read? (If you're looking for a rec)

The latest book I just finished is:
Marker by Robin Cook.

And this I do recommend.
