ok im a teenager getting my first cell phone. should i get a chocolate phone or a razr? my parents have a verizon plan.
also, are razrs gonna be discontinued soon? if yes, when?

Razr's reviews are horrible. I have read many reviews where the phone itself falls apart, drops calls, all sorts of things even if it is soooo cute! Cannot tell you one thing about the Chocolate but my daughter loves her LG8300 and she is a teenager. She downloads music from walmart.com with a gift card she can get for as little as $5. Then transfer the tunes to media player 10 then to her micro SD memory card. She listens to this phone constantly like an Ipod. She loves this little phone. You do not need to purchase the Vcast kit either if you buy a memory card.

I'm not a teenager and I'm sure a chocolate phone is all the rage right now. I have the razr and it's great, nice and thin, bluetooth. They have sold over 50 million razrs so I doubt they will be discontinued soon. To save money, buy one on ebay "unlocked". It depends on whether you are going to sign up for a long contract. I hate contracts but that's just me. Good luck.

I would get whichever phone they are offering for free at the time. The Chocolate is like $279.00 and the Razr was being offered as a freebie for a while. I don't think Razrs are being discontinued. They may come out with one that's been upgraded with more features though.

If your really into music get the chocolate but if you just really want a phone go with the razr

As a person who sells cell phones all day long, go with the Chocolate. It has GPS, MP3 capability, and it looks better than the Razr.

Im a teenager and razrs dont phase me at all. My uncle has one and they're so stupid just like any other cellular phone. Right now im dying to get the new chocolate phone it is so cool and you can listen to great music......i cant get it though.....that sucks!!!
my vote is the CHOCOLATE!!!

razrs are too campy nowadays, you can get them for damn near free. they will continue releasing updated versions of it since the phone is so popular. don't see any immediate dumping of the line from verizon
my coworker recently got the chocolate and it's pretty swank. takes a while to get used to dialing since it's pretty weird but other than that it's pretty cool. small and very functional. I say go with the chocolate.

a teenager hmmm...i have a razr with verizon...its ok not the best but if i could i'd go back and get an LG cuz those phones are the best!!! but yeah if you do get a celly and when you buy your ringtones...here's a tip do not buy from Verizon Deluxe Tones...go with Sony Music box...wayyyyyyyy better deal and plus the ringtones are longer
