Whirlpool used to manufacture the Kenmore brand for Sears. They no longer do. If you ask the person at Sears, they will tell you who manufactures their Kenmore products for them now. I did and they told me, but my memory is totally shot (LOL!!). I just remember it is NOT Whirlpool anymore because I was so surprised about that.

Sears just puts their name on the appliances. They do not manufacture anything. Some appliances might actually be Whirlpool some might be Frigidaire or someone else. Depends on who gave them the best deal on the process for this year.

No. They are separate, and I think Sears co. is associated with it. Whirlpool makes this brand called Estate, which is actually cheaper, if you're looking for something less expensive and high quality.
