I had great teachers when I went to school that really cared about us students but that was 34 yrs ago for me. It really works both ways as you have some gangster attitude students that make teachers jobs that much harder too and teachers can no longer discipline them so their hands are tied in a way. We used to raise hell and give teachers a hard time when I went to school but you understood the consequences of your actions.

You ask for people over 21 to answer your question and then you ask a question about school, I think that is kind of weird since most of us have not been in school for years, But I am told that teachers are not what they use to be.

No child left behind program and lack of funds. Most people who have no degree get paid more than those who go for 4+ years to put up with crap as a teach with crappy wages, that Target floor sweepers makes more. It is up to you to put them through proper school. Government schools don't cut it. Hell look at New Orleans.

It's because they have to go through all of the schooling, PAY for it all while starving to death, then they get the teaching job hoping to make a difference only to be treated with disrespect and get blamed because your childs a fukkin retard.

Don't know but my kids are the ones who suffer, they just don't care anymore, if they don't like it they should get a new job so I don't have to teach my kids how to do thier homework.
