Do they make frames that size or do I have to trim the picture? I am using Canon borderless photopaper (with my Canon printer). Thanks in advance for any tips!

For a more professional appearance, don't use an 8.5 by 11 frame. (Yes, they do make them and you CAN use it if you just want a quick solution to get it up on a wall.)

I suggest an 11 by 14 inch frame with a mat cut to fit your 8.5 by 11 inch print.

Take your print to an art supply shop that has a good selection of mats and frames. First, find the mat that fits the format and best shows off the image. Then find the frame that fits the mat.

This is the easiest and best do it yourself solution.

You can also invest in a mat cutter and custom frame kits, but it's a little more costly, and mat cutting is very tricky to get a good "finished" look.

Finally, a good frame shop can do it for you for a greater cost. But those guys can do AMAZING things if you turn them loose.

You are looking at what in the UK we would call an A3 printer. They are expensive here - you are looking at about £500 which is nearly $1000. Epson make a very good one, but I can't remember the model number. Plenty of A4 printers at your figure, but not ones that print larger

Get a document frame they are made in 81/2 X 11. Wal-Mart and other stores have them.

Go buy a frame that is close to the size you need. (You are even allowed to take the picture with you to size the frame). You can trim the picture to make it smaller. You can mat the picture to use a larger frame. You can get a custom frame made for your picture.
