Ok, I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here, as some chunks of The Human Endeavor (tm) do seem stuck in a rut as of late:

"Why is Earth boring?" Pick one:

A) Lawyers, combined with people who just have no sense.

Really. We can't even play horseshoes with *real* horseshoes and a peg anymore, because some *inbred idiot* already maimed himself with a metal horseshoe (News Flash: Heavy metal thingies *hurt* when you drop them on body parts from ANY height!), hired a damn lawyer, bought him a lawsuit, *won* himself a new wardrobe and now....

The rest of us *non* idiots are stuck with bean-bag mockeries and cheap boxes with holes in them, the "safe" version. Gah.

B) Because the Rich Man Says So. Really...your CEOs (collectively) are one of three biggest impediments to human progress ever....that New Economy we had? Gone, because Big Oil and their *terrorist* Pimp Daddies said so....

Really. We are on the verge of being Post-Peak-Oil, or Post-Petroleum....and the economy can't grow anymore, not without the *greed-heads* at the very top *relenting* and sharing some of their decadent wealth. Which they won't do....which leaves us stuck in a rut of an economy wherein the only growth lies with *exploiting* problems instead of solving them. Making cottage industries, for example, out of keeping poor folks *in debt* instead of getting them out of it, which would solve a problem.

C) Because the Religious Freaks say so....they say if you so much as *think* of not being another boring sheep in a flock, that not only will you go to Hell, but that the Fanatics among them will *send you there* by killing you.

Wahabbi Arabists *do* this....Evangelical Christianoids *wish they could*, openly and publicly (Pat Robertson anyone?). This might actually *scare* people into being boring, you know?

D) Because you're being too passive in life.

Really. We have a lot going on in this world. Much of it is bad, but still....that is no excuse to give up.

If anything, it is an excuse to *get angry* and to let the anger motivate you to speak out, stand up, and act on your principles.

I mean, geez, you could have just put in the effort to use *capital letters* for your question, but you didn't....

Don't be so weak, so milquetoast about life. If you don't like the world around you, *speak up* and come up with something to *do about it*.

Maybe you will be heard. Maybe you will get something done.

Or...you will wind up a bitter old fart like me, in which case *I* will have some company. :P
