Hey there!
I don't know for sure.
I think that even if you reached Nirvana, there's still be questions left to ponder about, be it mundane stuff or otherwise. I know of gnostics who spend the early part of their life when they strove in spiritual cleansing and after subsequently attaining enlightenment, later turn to purely philosophical debates to question themselves all over again. Since we humans can't agree on the same conclusions on countless issues, there will always be room for doubt and dissent and that is beneficial to the dynamisn of critical thinking, by simply shaking things up a bit, we discover new perspectives. All these larger concerns and unresolved questions will always provide food for thought and endless self discovery awaits!
Personnally, i wish self discovery never ends in this lifetime or thereafter, whatever that post death reality may be.........i mean where is the fun in that?

Yes.
Self-discovery ends with self-realization. Probably only two religions, Hinduism and Buddhism talk about self-realization which is the realization of self and consequently the realization of the divinity inherent in this creation. Most of us struggle to reach there; only a few have been able to do so. It is a place where there is nothing more left to be known, where all questions have been answered and the soul is in perfect harmony with the divine force: Buddhists call it a state of Nirvana, Hindus call it a state of Moksha.

No, there is not an end to self discovery. Each day confronts us with different questions and multiple problems, and each day we learn a little on our reactions, our instincts and our self control; each of these change with time, so we will always be surprised by ourselves and our new personality day by day

self discovery means to ask question to one's own self and get answers, not to others

Sure... self-discovery ends when you die. Unless, of course, there is some form of life after death, which you would then discover at the time of your death and thereafter you would continue discovering new things.
