I saw books at Barns and Noble that are way cheaper than the same book sold on e bay. why? do people think that we're gonna buy with those ridiculous prices?

Because people will buy it for a ridiculous price..... Ordering off Ebay is easier than driving to the store and buying it yourself. As long as people are taking advantage, there will always be a market.

Some people always take advantage of other people's assumptions, one such being that it wouldn't be on e-bay if there were cheaper items elsewhere.

I think they don't realize that people know how to price compare. Their mindset is that you can get away with anything on eBay.

I have an uncle who is a used car salesman and he says there is a sucker born every minute. I believe it's true.

They are probably using a dropshipper who is already selling to them at retail, so they have to sell high to make anything at all.
