My heart is beating 136 times a minute... it's been like that all day and I have the flu or something... I broke down in 3rd block and went home with the world's worst headache. My temporal veins are pounding. My throat hurts... and everything is too loud... I'm about to go to the doctor in an hour but I'm worried about my heart... it's never done this before...

Hi,
Though ur problem can b solved by da doctor I suggest u a very simple way 4 all ur prblms u jst need 2 calm down 1st of all, then relax close ur eyes let da beautiful thoughts creep ur mind n get reminded of ur hey days.Get rememinded of ur God.Go out with ur frnds 4 sight seeing where u r all over surrounded by da nature. Now give ur brain a run 4 its money as how da god created this beautiful world.Discuss it with ur frnds as nothing can b better than being among da frnds.I bet u u'll b alright.N not 2 4get ur prayers they r da biggest immune systems a person possesses.
Bye!

It probably related to a combination of you having stress, a high fever, and your dehydration. Its unlikely that its from a primary heart condition. If it is still beating fast when all these other problems are resolved (fever breaks, your dehydrated, and you relax)-- then i would get an EKG at the Doctors office.

If they can't figure out why it happened, you may want to get information on the following three conditions: hyperinsulinemia, Candiditis and gluten intolerance.

It may not be any of these, but if you have any in combination, they can do nasties to a body.

For some basic information, check out the symptoms link at www.hufa.org.

If your pulse is 136 without extreme exercising then see a doctor immediately.

A pulse over 100 is considered tachycardia. You want your resting pulse to be between 60-100. That is high and you sound very ill. You should go in ASAP! Just try to relax until you go in to try and reduce your pulse.
