Any good dress shop will have the little black dress. But obviously you need a long one. Why don't you try a nice slacks outfit?

How do you play the cello in a dress? Wont they let you wear black pants? When my daughter played the cello, it was very tricky when she wore a dress because you really couldn't sit like a lady and hold the cello...
Actually I think the black wide leg capri pants (can't remember what they are called) could look great because you can dress them up!

try finding A-line long (below your ankle) skirts that have multiple layers.
keep looking in department stores, and also those little clearance stores like Marshalls and Ross. it's going to take some serious shopping, but in the meantime, just get long formal black slacks (in case you don't find a dress in time!)

I'm really not sure but I would suspect a retailer that carries extra large size womens clothing if it's going to fit you and your cello in it!
