From Charlie Chan Family:

"yowza - (slang interjection; became current circa 1932) An exclamation of delight or approval; yes, sir; also: yowzah or youzer. Tom Evans: "...one of these days I'm going to send home for some jazz - the old maestro stuff, yousa!""

Also, check out the Urban Dictionary, where people post their own definitions! I know this is an *OLD* expression, though from seeing it used in very old black & white movies, so I'm going with the Charlie Chan definition as a base and it still being around. YOWZA!!

I am a Punjabi. Jugni dosent mean innocent or special Girl. At that time in UK there was a 50 Years Jubilee of Queen Victoria. And they bought a flame in a Golden Pot, in India(Subcontinent). There were two brothers who were illiterate and pronounce word Jubilee. And they say it like "JUGNI" and sing a Song. Jugni gayi Gujrat (Jubilee went through Gujrat) and all that. Jugni is nothing else then a wrong Pronunciation. In fact it was Jubilee which illiterate Bishna and Manda pronounced as 'Jugni'.
