Lacuna Coil is similar to Evanescence in that they both have female lead singers and they both infuse elements of goth rock and metal into their music. However, Lacuna Coil also has a male singer (whose voice I find absolutely revolting), and their music is a bit harder and much less mainstream-sounding than Evanescence. I personally like Amy Lee's voice more than Cristina Scabbia's (the lead singer from Lacuna Coil).

Lacuna Coil is an amazing band and Evanescence is garbage.
You just compared Metal to pop....it saddens me
Listen to Lacuna Coil people and you will develop good taste in music

They're harder than Evanescense. Lacuna Coil has more of a metal following than Evanescense does. (And the lead singer is 100x hotter than Amy Lee!)

I don't listen to them, but i did hear a great remake. They did the song "Enjoy the Silence"...i think that's what it's called...by Depeche Mode...it's awesome...download Lacuna Coil's version and see what you think. =)

kind of, but i think they're a little more original than that. i love lead singer's voice. she rocks.
