also, my school is being renovated, don't know if the leak was caused by the construction workers or unrealted (as in the work they did was bad...we already have evidence that this has happened in other parts of the school)

Hey there, i'm not an expert, but the same thing happened here in Atlanta at an elementary school a few days ago. They only closed the school overnight and were open the next morning, so i'm guessing that you will more than likely have school tomorrow. Sorry!

I only know that a pound of Limburger cheese put into a burlap bag in the main heating ventilator over Christmas, will keep the kids out for about four days!

the chances are very slim if there a school in the same school district near ur skool (there was a gas leak at my skool once before skool started in jan 2005....i was only standed outside for 3 hours...when everyone was aloud back in)

If they get on to it, and its straightforward, it can be fixed in a day. Depends how quick the school can get some in to fix it. It may depend on whether any pipes needs to be dug up or replaced, which will take longer. Don't think the school would let it go on any longer than they can possibly can, so don't get your hopes up.

probably wasn't a gas leak. they just made you all think that, you better take an extra day off just for precaution. the janitor is hiding out in the school ventilation with alot of armor waiting to take out the kids who made fun of him

It will depend on how soon they fix the problem. Once it is fixed and aired out there shouldn't be any problem going back to school.
