I've already lived through Charly, Frances and Jeanne w/ no power for 2 weeks on each. This "storm" isn't going to be anything to us. It's only a TS

I was just trying to lighten the mood people! I am taking this seriously, just realize that I wasn't directing the comment to people it was at my bosses.

I too am also in Fl and lived through Charley, Frances and Jeanne. But TS are still stong storms and people can die. Remember the damage of Katrina was mainly because of flooding.......So grow up and stop being so insensitive!

Really nice thing to say, when already people from other states are gearing up in case residents like you need help. Perhaps you can use this day to prepare or even help someone who can't help themselves. I have the day off too, and the difference is, my house will still be intact at the end of the week!

I too live in Fla. and preparing for Ernesto, but I don't feel the need to throw it in other peoples faces.. GROW UP!!! 1 woman has already lost her life because of this storm, why was she in the water beats me but come on!

Not funny, have a bit of compassion for others who have lost much in the wrath of mother nature. Better do lots of praying that you and your loved ones will be ok. Good luck! We will be watching..........
