How many of you know of a person or persons that are abusing a social service? Ex: Social security, disability, IHS, welfare, etc?

How are they doing it? Going under multiple names? Claiming a false disability?

How many of you have actually turned them in for it?

it really is a tricky seize 22 concern. a baby frequently blames him or herself for being removed from the living house. If the abuser is removed from the living house, the newborn then feels accountable about that (and would get inspired to sense guilt through different kinfolk). on the different hand, can we extremely favor to say that it really is okay to dangle a baby up through the ankles and beat the newborn with a strap? Or to placed warm sauce contained in the newborn's mouth and eyes? To make a baby march in a circle for hours, then beat them with a hanger because they pee themselves because they have not been allowed to apply the lavatory? To shake a crying infant till there is mind damage? those are all issues that I have considered in operating with abused toddlers. even as it really is actual that maximum newborn abusers were abused themselves as toddlers, it really is both actual that maximum folk of abused toddlers do not develop into newborn abusers; decrease than one third abuse toddlers later in existence. aspects were observed that make the journey of the abuse worse (beginning at a comfortable age, abuse over a lengthy era of time, etc.). something that does help to diminish the outcome of abuse is help of others outdoors the kinfolk, and exceptionally, helping the newborn to appreciate that they don't look to be responsible for the abuse. it is an major service offered through the newborn welfare amenities, if the caseworker is 1/2 respectable. regrettably, the attempt to maintain expenses low to taxpayers means that frequently the least experienced and least experienced workers do this very difficult artwork.

My ex-husband lives with a woman and her kids who get foodstamps. He moved in 2 years ago, with his income, but she never reported it and they haven't gotten married. I know because when he tried to get custody of his first child, dhr had to do a home evaluation on him and they told them about all their income, including food stamps. I saw the papers. Thing is, I made less than they said they made, and I'm not eligible for food stamps. So how could they be unless they hid income? And how come the social worker who wrote this report didn't notice they made too much and report them? Oh well, what goes around comes around eventually....

I know a woman that keeps on having kids so that she can get a check and food stamps and medical care free. Makes me angry but nothing they can do to stop her, unless they make her get sterilized, which I think would be a grand idea.

You cannot get on disability under false pretenses. They send you to alot of doctors to make sure you HAVE a disability BEFORE they let you have it.
