there must be something she isn't telling you because she has to have had sex. unless she is carrying the son of God.

She might not have had sex, but someone had sex with her. Your parents need to talk to her and find out what is going on. Is she being abused? Was she playing around with some guy and got his sperm too close to her vagina? Or has she been doing things with a guy, hoping he'll like her? Pregnancy doesn't just happen, there is a reason and another person involved. And I'm not sure how you could test her without her realizing. But that test could be false. Either way, your parents need to sit her down for a long talk and some hard truths.

I read this article in a magazine about a 12 year old who got pregnant - she is an adult now and she wrote the article herself. she describes that she was raped at school but she did not know it was rape at the time because she did not even know what sex was then. She says she only knew he hurt her and she did not tell anyone about it. A few months later she started to feel movement in her tummy and started to put on weight - said she was ill and her mother took her to a doctor who informed her mother she was pregnant - the motherwas furious but ended up accepting and raising the baby as her own.
My Point: Does your little sister even know what sex is? could she think that some fooling around that she might have been doing does not constitute sex?
talk to her - get the real deal
Also please talk to your parents - especially your mother.

Woah!! YOU tester her?? Have she had a real test from a doctor? Everyone else here is telling you she's lying about the sex thing, and I can't say she isn't, but what is sex to her? If it's like Clinton, that would be just intercourse. Many kids her age think rubbing and oral sex and such is NOT sex, and they are wrong!! But that's besides the point. You sister needs to go to a doctor or a clinic and get a real test, and if she's not pregnant, then something else is going on that needs immediate attention!

Like everyone else said- it sounds like she lied to you about having sex or she has been sexually abused by someone and is too afraid to talk about it.
If you have only done one test then it might be worth doing another (and how you tested her without her finding out the results I have no idea). Also, seeing the doctor and getting them to give an opinion might be a good idea.
Personally I would tell your parents sooner rather than later, better yet get your sis too. It's better for them to find out at the beginning when she is still shocked and upset than to find out when she has thought it over herself and made a decision. At least your parents will realise that you are both able to talk to them about anything and that's always a good thing.
Anyway I hope this helps a little. Good luck!!

OMG I'm sorry for your sister, she's very young! but I have some comments
1. She must've had sex to get pg
2. It could be some kind of sexual abuse and she's too naive/afraid to tell.
3. The test showed a false positive
Either way I congratulate you for being there for your sister, if she's in fact pg she's going to need all kind of support. Also I'm glad you are telling your parents because they are the only ones that can take action on this matter and take her to a dr, at her age this is considered a High risk pg
Good luck to your sis and family

Well, if she is pregnant she has definately had sex. There is just no other way. She must not be telling you everything. You don't have to have a boyfriend to have sex. Maybe you should pull your parents aside and calmly tell them what's up and that you have not told your little sis yet. That may give them time to digest the situation before little sis gets involved.

Well you may have a false positive result. There are alot of resons why you may have had an inaccurate test some are listed here http://www.cnn.com/HEALTH/library/PR/00100.html. There are also alot of different signs that your sister would be pregnant, not just that she's getting heavier. Some common complaints of early pregnancy are a lack of energy and some feel morning sickness. If you really think that she's pregnant you should definately tell your parents and then talk to your doctor.

The only thing that this can IF she didn't have sex is that she has an irregular period and needs to see a doctor to regulate it.
Pregnancy tests are designed to look for the hormone created during pregancy (very occassionally a false positive) so either way OB-GYN visit is a must.

Well hate to say it, your sister must not be telling the truth, she had to had some time of sex to be pregnant. Sperm had to go in her vagina. She is probally scared of telling the truth to you because she will think that you might be disappointed in her talk to her, and tell her that your there for her. you need to kno the answers...
*plus this is not a good thing at a young age its going to be a hard life for her. Only Mary was the only person with no sexual contact.

Honey... the ONLY way lil sis can be pregnant is if she had sex. You may not know about it, but she does and she knows with who too... Don't be naive. Talk to her before you tell mom and dad because you need to find out who daddy is especially since she's 12... ooohhh there's gonna be a lot of drama behind this one. Good luck!
