unless everyone is going to be hanging out for a while, i would do something simple, like easy finger snacks (cookies or cakes) nothing greasy because these people will be using their hands on their faces! Also, if you serve a lot of snacks before your class, the whole thing ends up taking longer. maybe serve snacks after the skin care part while your consultant is talking to everyone individually.

Speak to your consultant about this. Most consultants will request that if you serve alcohol that it is after she has already left. As for food, it's best to keep it simple. Remember, you'll be using your hands to try products so you won't want to be eating at the same time.

Trough in Back Yard filled with everything you can doggie bag from "family chain" resturants, whipped up in blender, covered in chocolate syrup. And then watch the fun as the Mary Kayers pig out.
