My girlfriend, who lives in the Province of Québec, wants to enroll at Laval University, and is waiting for the go-ahead. Today is August 29, and school starts September 5. What should she do: 1) forget the waiting list, go right away to the School anyways and ask for admission on the spot; 2) pray that she moves up the list to number 0 by September 5; 3) get the names and address of at least 10 people who have been admitted there; 4) jump off a high bridge or building? Please do not send fluffy, impractical answers like "hang in there, etc...".

Ya for sure, you're gonna have to 'off' the other 9 people...any other way involves way too much red tape.

I hate to bring gloom and doom to you, but i would move to my second choice for Pharmacy school. Those on the waiting list or alternate list are rarely chosen. Most kids don't drop out of Pharmacy school until after year 1.
Good Luck!

Why not go out and shot the 9 people in front of her. Or have her have sex with the dean of admissions.
