my husband was on online date sites,is this cheating or not?

If he actually starts to date one of the people he meets on the site it is cheating but just looking on the site is not cheating.

Have you asked him why he is on them? Really the only reason to be on online dating sites is to look for something that you are lacking in your life. I really think that you need to confront him on this. He may not be cheating, yet, but he might not be getting all he wants in your marriage and might be thinking about it. Talk, find out what is missing, and try to correct it together.

There's no reason for a married man to be on an online dating site EXCEPT if he's looking to get laid elsewhere. What do YOU think - is this cheating?

What was he doing there? Just looking out of curiosity, or actually posting looking for a date?
Then again, even if he did post, it really isn't cheating until he follows through with something.
Certainly, you need to find out why he was there and what he was looking for.

yes definently cheating why else would he go on? Most of the sites require you to register, and explain what you are looking for, an easy way to catch him is to register on the site and look for him, see what his profile says. If he is on craigs list, then it can be hard to tell some go on for the laughs others well, you get my drift, I hope my advice helps good luck

when you say he was on an online dating site did you mean he was just looking at it or did he put a profile on it? If he has a profile, it seems to me that if he hasn't already, he's planning on cheating on you.

he may be cheating i can tell you one thing though if he isnt cheating now he will be you are married and why would he want to go to and online dating site i would confront him before you get burned

Yes, emotional cheating can be just as devastating to a relationship as physical cheating.
Forsaking all others means just that -- your husband is a cheater!

He may or may not be cheating. Depends on how good he wrote his profile. He's trying, at the very least. Or, possibly, this is a long shot, but maybe he just wants to see if he's still got it, so to speak.

Not cheating as of yet but might be thinking of cheating. Talk to him he could just be curious on what he might find on line. Tell him how this upsetted you and you will not allow this in your home.
