All women are different. I am 21 and almost 7 months pregnant. I was on depo (the shot) from the age of 13 to the age of 16 then on the pill from the age of 16 to the age of 20. The nurse or doctor that I talked to at the local clinic told me that it would take me a very long time to get pregnant even if I wanted to right away. She said it would take me at least 2 years to get pregnant. Boy was she wrong!! I stopped taking my birth control around the second week in November and around February 15th we concieved. Now we are happily pregnant with a son to be born on November 23rd. I hope I answered your question and good luck to you.

When I came off the pill the doctor said at least 3-6 months before trying, but I didn't get pregnant for 2 years.

You can try straight away that you come off the pill. I was pregnant within about 6 weeks of coming off the pill. But if it doesn't happen straight away don't worry about it.

well, i stoped taking the pill April 30, 2006 and found out i was pregnant July 5, 2006. Then i had a miscarrage July 18, 2006.
Not sure if that had anything to do with it, but i did have the D&C.
I am praying and leaven it in GODS hands.
I pray for you as well.

Some people miss a pill and get pregnant
No one is the same but you can try for as long and as early as you want.

your doctor would know more.

Have fun

it can happen the day you come off the pill or it might take a month or 2. you might be one of the lucky one's that it happens to straight away. dont be too pushy because it wont happen just let it happen. go away for a night and dont think about getting pregnant and it will happen. it happened to me and now i have 2 lovely boys aged 3 and 6

The best advce would be to have one cycle before you try and get pregnant and I have several friends who got pg right away after getting off the pill....Good luck.
