I would say six, Two parents in one room (that is taking that there are two parents), Two boys in one room and Two girls in another.... I know that age of any children are taken into consideration when boys and girls share rooms.

well me,my man and my 4 kids stayed in a 2 bedroom for years!!! it was a living hell! the council told me because i have 4 girls, they could all share the one room.what a lot of bollock s!!!!! i was on the waiting list for years and saw single mums with 2 kids moving into 3 bedroom houses and used to go mad,but i was told it was coz the kids were a boy and a girl etc. (i`m not slating single mums by the way) but it is so unfair,i nearly craked up in that tiny house and it done my kids no favours either!!! it depends where you are from but i think councils have their priorities all wrong. i`ve not answered your question have i?? haha!! i`d say 5 at the most. i am now in a 4 bedroom and it is ok.xx

3 single adults or 6 if it's couples, if it's adults and kids then it gets complicated, boys can share with boys and girls with girls but after a certain age (which im unsure of) kids of the opposite sex need different rooms but you could have 4 girls in one room and 4 boys in the other and a couple in the third if the rooms were big enough for 2 sets of bunks.
but personally i'd say 2 adults and 2-4 kids...

6 to 8 i'd say. 2 parents and up to 3 kids in each room - or you could have bunkbeds, or double bunkbeds and hammocks for the little ones, drawers for the babies.

We have a total of 8 living in a modest bungalow. that's 3 couples and 2 kids. It's usually fairly calm, but it can have it's moments. good luck in your situation!
