Interesting question. I would think so. My belief is that the person staring at you are also focusing his mind to yours. Because he is interested in your, he tried to communicate with you and somehow, through 'telepathy' or 'sixth sense', he passes a message to you. You can try it... Go look for someone whom you are really interested to know and then stare at person. It must be someone whom you really really wants to know and that you want him/her to be aware you are staring at the person. Let us know if it works.

It works for me... Good luck.

Have you ever walked by say, a decent looking guy, and once you have walked by you feel a certain area on your body getting hot? It's kind of like that.

Or, you can be off in your own little world when something shakes you or startles you back into reality and you feel that uneasy sense that you are being watched- you look and someone is staring right at you? It's called the universal string.

hmmm.....it's a sense that is hard to describe. It's like
you're in a dark room and you're with someone you can't see(boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, etc). They move closer and you feel it. They don't say a word but you can feel their presence.
You feel it in your body----as a reaction and sensation or even an energy(especially if the person has negative or mean intentions towards you). Hard to explain.

If someone is staring behind me I just feel it. It's automatic to turn around. It's kind of funny too coz the person looks at you funny. They look away quick and know that somehow you know they were staring. lol

"Hey Kimberly!
Actually, the sense you use is sight. You, simply, catch sight of them staring and that's because they stare just a little too long and ya notice. Back in the days when I was an adolescent, staring just a little too long was the feminine method of attracting a suiter. If she stared a little too long, then, looked away, that was a message for the male to investigate her attentions. If he didn't catch on to her method and ask her out, then, he was a slow thinker and, most likely, inappropriate for further consideration."

It really isn't the one being stared at that feels it so much as it is the one staring that projects the intent. Almost anyone can look at another and project enough "intent stare" to cause the other to turn or to look. Seldom does the one turning or looking understand why they're turning or looking.

Renee25- Couldn't have said it better myself. You just know when someone is starring; it's inutition and sometimes you want them to stare back/or at you and walla-you find that they just happen to be looking your way. It has happened to me so many freaking times-it's become an instinct-like you can sense someone or something near-although you don't see it until you turn-you know someone or something has picked interest in you. It makes you feel scrutinized and your heart starts pouding and you start to feel hot.Sometimes it's obvious they will stare although not at that exact momment-ex: I was at the airport-Dallas/ Fort Worth changing flights and as soon as I got off I had to ride the concord and because it's the airport and a very huge one-I was hoping maybe just maybe I'd bumped into a hottie-and well I love men in uniform and as I got off the concord I noticed a herd of cadets-all in blue just waiting for their flight-and I thought darn-they won't be able to see me because I exited out of the train 3 doors down from where they were-although a couple turned-anywho as I was walking down to my gate I ran into another herd of cadets and I kind of just ignored them and evevutally turned their way because I felt like someone was starring at me-I just got this unexplainable feeling that was intense from where they were that someone was starring at me-and low and behold-I guess I caught the eyes of a two cadets and just by their mannerisms I thought they might be interested-they wouldn't stop starring-alas they had to depart-but the intensity of the non-verbal communication and just the sitaution of it all hit me hard-and although I didn't meet my prince charming,it gave me hope and just the fact that I had a feeling one of them was starring at me and It turned out that I was right was eerie yet flattering :)-they didn't have stare at me-they could of stared at another passer by or at the wall-yet they chose to stare at me and with an intensity that I knew was with an intertest-a good one-and for that I'm flatterted-because I just knew:)-and you'll just know as well.

Yes I can...because looking creates energy and we feel the energy and then look that way and there the person is, looking at you!

I believe it's a "sixth sense," a developed animal response to be aware of predators.

i can feel it.
i cannot explain how it works, but, i notice i turn to the point where the "looking" is coming from.
sometimes you cannot find the person, you cannot see the person looking at you, but you feel you are watched from that, and exactly that, point.

tonalc1 is right...
an extra sensory perception / esp
you may feel that someone is looking at you especially when that someone is full of emotion. emotion... an energy in motion.
if you are sensitive enough to feel someone else's anger who is looking at you, you might get alarmed that that someone could be dangerous.
