about how long does it take for the depo shot to get out of your system, because i've been off for about 2 months now and now me and my boyfriend are ready to have a baby.

well i heard and read on the internet that it will take up to a year and plus it depends on how long you've been on it anyway.

That is a debatable question. Some say as soon as the three months are up, and you do not get another shot, others say that it may take up to 18 months. If I were you, then I would just keep up with your days of ovulation and keep having fun trying! Good Luck!

even though you get the depo shot every 3 months, it can take up to a year to conceive after your last shot. you didn't say if your last shot was 2 months ago (in which case you are still technically on birth control), or if you skipped your last shot, which was due 2 months ago. either way, my first statement holds (at least that's what my doc told me when i asked the same question).

they tell you 6 months, but 8 yrs ago i got off of it in may and found out i was pregnant in July, i have currently been off it since Jan and just now had two Pd's. i think it depends on your body and how young you are,

They say about four months, but I don't believe it will take that long. Good luck.
