Earlier i mentioned a childrens novel i am working on that would be a series of books.

When i first thought up the idea i was thinking of doind children's picture books.. each not very long.

If you were a kid and saw these for sale. Would you rather it be in pictures (short and lots of pics) or a novel.

Look at children's picture books that are currently popular in bookstores and libraries, and match your format with theirs. If I was a kid again -- who says I'm not, I'd probably want something balanced akin to "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". I first read it in second grade; it doesn't insult your intelligence, and it's moral without being preachy. (But NOT the current edition's Quentin Blake illustrations! I am a forever fan of the earlier edition with Schindelman's pen and ink sketches -- the 1979 edition.) Hope this helps, and have a great day!

what age group? If it's 8-10 you might want to see what's on the market for that group. Check out the mix of words/pictures, and see if your vocabulary is set at the right reading level.
