Sometimes I act confuse to save myself from dealing with what's going on, but normally I somehow confuse myself with pretending to be confused anyway. Is it wrong to act confused when you really aren't?

I do this all the time. For instance, yesterday this total dork who works at the grocery store where I shop kept hinting and hinting that he needed a ride home. I know he likes me and I have told him time and again that I have a boyfriend, yet every time I go shopping he has this vomit-inducing habit of putting his arms around me. So yesterday I cruelly pretended I didn't realize what he was hinting at. I don't care if he does live close to me, NO WAY was I putting myself in THAT unenviable position! Playing dumb saved me once again.
