I am from half way between Charlotte and Ashville NC. Depending on the band of American Indian, there is the Cherokee Res just about 1hour up from Charlotte at the foot of the Blue ridge Mountains. I think it is a great place, busy however. If you move be sure and visit the Cherokee, my people, Lake lure which is near there and the place where the movies, Dirty Dancing & Last of the Mohicans was filmed. Beautiful!

I just relocated to Charlotte, NC from Florida..I can tell you that Charlotte is a melting pot of many different cultures..so I think your family would be comfortable there..

Yes it is. Charlotte Raceway is there, golf courses, beautiful country and mountains. Appx. 3 hours from The Atlantic Ocean and Myrtle Beach.

i do not stay there yet were and that i'll assert, in my opinion, that's a quite state-of-the-paintings and various city. that's more beneficial kin-orientated and a lot less "businessy" compared to cities like Atlanta. Crime fee and site visitors isn't as undesirable both. As for being puppy pleasant extremely all more beneficial cities are. i'm not sensible about something else.
