Snape killing Dumbledore? Did Dumbledore beg for his life, or beg for Snape to kill him in order to save Draco?

I personally think that Dumbledore begged Snape to do away with him...and save Draco from having Dumbledore's death on his hands.

In the end...a bunch MORE information is going to come out...

Regardless of whether Snape is evil or not, I think in the last seconds of Dumbledore's life he had a moment of chrystal clarity. He knew he was getting old...and I think he knew that in order for the drama to unfold his death was required. He also has always believed the best in people, and I think he was still holding out hope in Draco. Draco, being not quite an adult, is symbolic of the "new generation." And this is the generation that will be the future. In short...I think Dumblefore martyred himself...knew Snape was a booger...and may have some special magic to come back and make an appearance in the last HP book.

I mean..hello, even Gandalf came back to help!!

Harry needs the strength...and adversity is the quickest way to force somebody to take action!

I think that Dumbledore wanted Snape to kill him, not only to save Draco, but also to keep Snape in Voldemort's good graces so that he can know what is going on and be able to help Harry in the end. I think Snape had a very hard time killing Dumbledore, and he tried to get out of it the whole year (there was an argument that Hagrid overheard) but Dumbledore knew that Snape had no choice. I also think that Snape proved himself when he didn't let anyone kill Harry and also didn't hurt any other the Order members (and DA members) on the way out of the castle.

After reading the book a few times, I'm with Kim D. Dumbledore has never been afraid to place himself in situations where he was risking his life. And he made it clear how much he trusted Snape all along. At the end, Snape had a perfect opportunity to kill Harry and didn't take it. I've got to with Dumbledore sacrificed himself and needed to pursuade Snape to finish the job.

Dumbledore still thought that there was some good in snape and begged for his life not because he was weak (which he was) but because he wanted to bring the good out, but sadly............

I think Dumbledore is going to be present in the 7th book in some way. (harry might find one off his memories or something like that)

I think it must be some kind of elaborate plan whose details will be revealed in the next book. I still believe that Snape is good, because if he were evil, Dumbledore would have been wrong. And Dumbledore is never wrong.

I think Dumbledor had it all planned.
remember Hagrid had heard Dumbledor and Snape querrelling. i think that dumbledor had told Snape his plan (of dumbledor tryin to get the horcrux and that he should be killed if needed to be killed) at that time and sSnape said that dumbledor was taking him for granted and making him do things he didnt want to do.
i think DD knew that he was going to die the moment he drank that potion and so he asked harry to call Snape and no one else, when he got to Hogsmeade .
he wanted to save Draco and Snape both. Remember Snape had the Unbreakable Vow (Snape would ve died if he broke the vow). so by having Snape to kill him he (dumbledor) saved Draco as well as Snape.
Sanpe is the Man.

Love him.

I don't think Dumbledore would ever beg for his life. He was asking Snape to kill him. Of coure, I'm a little bias. I love Snape.
