One way is to use Skype, and you can download their program for free at skype.com... both you and the people you are calling need to have the program. It usually works best if you set up a time to call them. You can use it to write instant messages back and forth, or, if you want to speak to the person, you will need speakers and a microphone, or one of those little headsets that has both. I also suggest you get a little video camera to attach to your computer, and that way you have video calls or video IMs.

Buy yourself a headset. download yahoo messenger with voice.
add the people you want to contact, and if they have messenger and a headset and want to talk to you; away you go !

1-open your yahoo messanger
2- click on messanger
3-choice your friend and right click on your friend name
4-left click on call computer
