I had terrible, awful cramps in the beginning of my pregnancy, and went on to have a healthy pregnancy and child. I read it can be caused by the stretching of ligaments.

From the different forums I have read some woman can have cramping that was similar or worse than their period cramps from stretching and/or from implanting, and small contractions.
But, if you are having cramping that you feel is bad, then you might want to call your doctor. Sometimes that could mean that it is a tubal pregnancy and that is VERY dangerous.
So, it might be good to discuss with your GYN.
Good luck!!

In early pregnancy cramping can be normal. But if they are more intense then the average menstrual cramps then it's time to call the dr and make sure all is well.. it's better to be safe then sorry... good luck and hope that everything is okay...

Cramping is amazingly common. I had it with all 5 of my little ones. i might say it somewhat is the egg implanting. the only time i might challenge is that if the discomfort gets somewhat undesirable or in case you start up recognizing. I had some cramping with the final being pregnant and then particularly of blood each and every week later I ignored carried using fact the toddler end becoming. yet like I suggested it particularly is amazingly elementary so do no longer challenge except you notice blood.

It is common to have mild cramps in early pregnancy. However, if you have any vaginal bleeding heavier than your normal period, along with strong cramps, it could possibly of something serious.

Not very common, although it could be caused by many things. If you are having painful cramps you should see a doctor right away because while it may or may not be common, it could be a bad sign. Good luck.

it's very common because your uterus is stretching to accomodate the new baby inside of it..you're body is adjusting to the baby inside
