Let me know what you think is the best MP3 player that is flash memory based these days. Here is what I do/don't want:

1) Not a telephone
2) No microdrive or hard drive, flash only. I'm sure I'll drop it repeatedly.
3) Don't even mention "ipod" to me. I'm not an isheep and not a fan of apple
4) It needs to have a microphone for voice memos (also rules out ipod)
5) I don't want to watch videos on it, but don't mind if it has the capability
6) It must not be one of those tiny little stick things. My eyes aren't good enough to view the microscopic writing and icons on their micro-sized screens.

I'm thinking of the iriver clix, but it only has 2GB and I'd like 4GB or more. Creative also has various models that are OK, like the Zen V Plus 4GB coming out in a week or so.

Thanks.

Be smart . . . wait for the new Zen. It i supposed to be great! See Cnet Reviews

And boy, do I agree with you . . . get something you can drop!
I thought I read somewhere that they are coming out with an 8G MP3 flash drive later this year. I am waiting for that.

you could embed something on your blog entries. yet be careful ... ascertain they don't commence taking section in onload, or think ofyou've got a number of all of them taking section in together. :-)
