I'm a little behind in some of the newer shows that have come out the past couple years and since I'm a member of Netflix, I can catch up that way but I wanted opinions on which shows I should choose to dedicate my time to and which shows I can pass on. Out of the five mentioned above, which are your favorites?

I couldn'st stop watching the DVDs of 24, I had seasons 1-3. They will hook you. NCIS is awesome as well, if you are a fan of any of that producer's other works (his dad's, actually - Magnum PI, Quantum Leap, The A Team, etc etc... Belisario Productions is awesome!). I've seen all the episodes of every season of 24, NCIS, Desperate Housewives, and Grey's Anatomy, and, as a guy that makes me (1) gay, (2), have too much time on my hands, and (3) an expert on almost all of your question. Go with 24 first, then go to NCIS. I watch DH and GA for the hot chicks (ok, I'm not gay).

Grey's Anatomy is my favorite show ever. This is a must-watch tv program especially if you like Patrick Dempsey!
House is good, but it's not a must see. You could probably pick up on it during the actual tv showings without having watched any of the previous episodes. Hugh Laurie is really great though.
Desperate Housewives was good during the first season. I would suggest watching it so you can at least get the gist of the show. After season 1, it started getting really stupid and over the top. I hardly ever watch it anymore.
I've only seen 1 season of 24. I watched it as an all day tv marathon. I thought it was really good and very addicting. I think it is hard to watch weekly on tv because if you miss an episode, you are totally lost on the action.
I've never seen NCIS

House I love!!! The show 24 is really good. Desperate housewives, I think, lost some of its luster, from the first season. Grey's Anatomy is great, and I don't watch NCIS.

I watch House, Desperate Housewives, and NCIS. One of my sons is a big fan of 24. I've heard that Grey's Anatomy is great, but have never watched it. NCIS is one of my favorites! Hope I helped a bit.

24 and House are by far the best on that list. I would definitely skip Desperate Housewives. What a trashy show

grey's anatomy and house.. no question...theyre the kind of shows you can dedicate your time to week after week and feel good about watching..
desperate housewives could be a must-see if it gets back to one single driving story line like it did in season one
but I gotta say.. I cant say enough good things about grey's anatomy and house

JoBu loves 24 and House. Include Grey's Anatomy on there as well. The other two you can do without. I would also recommend Lost as well.
