I'm all for it. Anyway, many in the military are gay. They are there and they are there to stay.

don't ask don't tell is a big joke. gays have been in the military as long as there has been a military. the don't ask policy if anything has started witch hunts looking for us. i was in the military b4 that policy started and even retired out of the military. it's always been a pretty much don't tell type thing when your in. just because of the exceptance levels of some people but then again you should kiss and tell any way even if your str8. it's just not polite

The "they be having sex with each other and making the other soliders uncomfortable" was an argument that was used back when people didn't like the idea of women being in the military. When I was in the Army, I served with two soldiers in my office who I knew were gay, (I'm not) and there was never a problem; at least not a problem that I ever heard about.

I don't think is a matter of "who thinks". We are already, We have been for many centuries. Many of us have already died for this country... Every soldier should be respected for honoring our freedom.... It doesn't mean I'm for war... But to many of our young ones are dying for politics everyday...... and greed..... I don't care who thinks "should or shouldn't" Even our fellow straight soldiers are dying leaving family behind.... Don't ask don't tell policy is so everyone doesn't humanize homosexuals in the military. They want to keep gay and lesbian closeted so that the public thinks all the soldiers dying are just traditional hetro people. Its all bull$hit.

I think that the policy, sucks because it's unfair that you should be discharged for being who you are. I'm some soliders have been discharged if though they served their country for years. So Yes, gays should be in the military.

I think they should be allowed to be out and in the military. The more people who want to be in the military, the less likely a draft will enslave others to have to serve.

I think that a persons sexuality is irrelavant to thier ability or desire to serve & should be treated as such.

I think when our best and brightest are wasted on the battle field of oil and greed, that their sexuality isn't the issue.

I think Gays should be allowed to serve, just as all can...but would I join this bunch of lunatics who have no idea of what to do except how to spend exorbitant amounts of money..hell no!

the "don't ask/don't tell" policy is ridiculous. we should be able to serve in the military if we want, and not have such restrictions imposed upon us.
