I think that if you want to fight for your country age, sex, religion and sexual preference should not matter.

years ago women would not be allowed in the military because we are female...mothers...daughters...and the nuture of civilization...and what man wanted to see a woman mortally wounded in combat? These things were unheard of, women should not see these things....BUT GUESS WHAT??? It is 2006 and no one gives a darn that women are dying just like men out there fighting for their countries...so what is the difference ??? A gay man or woman is no different and as long as they can handle the stresses and get the job done then I say do ur country proud and be proud of who and what u r....afterall we are fighting for FREEDOM right....????????????????

we are going to have a problem with that because Americans are such prudes. Other countries let gay people serve in the armed forces. American men are too afraid another man might look at them. What a bunch of weenies.
The massive amount of money wasted on trainng people and then discharging them because they're gay is f*cking ridiculous. The witch hunts still go on.

If they want to be, they should be allowed.

I've always thought that straight men don't want gay men in the military, because they are afraid that the gay men will treat them (the straight guys) the way they treat straight women... like sex objects and with no respect. Tough.

Gays and lesbians are just as tough (often tougher, because of having to put up with straight's BS) and as smart as the next.

I see no reason for them to not be in the miliatry. Sexual orientation should not matter as long as it doesn't affect their abilities at work.

if you're gay fight with this habit...it's only a bad habit not a disease. Pray for yourself and for all the other persons you know...it's better to be normal...in a normal way...not normal like nowadays!
