are you always honest with yourself?

when someone asks me something like, "do you like my outfit?" and i really don't like it, i try not to hurt their feelings but i tell it how it is.

It's hard to be 100% honest at all times.

I truly do appreciate the truth.

If someone asks my opinion, i think that they're foregoing all insecurities and expect the truth. But of course, it depends on who they are. If i know they are insecure, i'll put it all in a nicer way. However, if i know they can handle the truth, i'll put it bluntly.

Now honesty with myself... i try to "face the music" so to speak. But sometimes i enjoy deluding myself. It makes me feel better.

I am always honest with myself. The only person that you can never hide from is yourself. I agree with being honest with people. But there is a tactful way that you can do it. If someone asks my opinion, I give it to them. If they can't take it, then they don't need to ask me. lol

questions like that are ''catch 22's''...in my opinion, if someone is going to hit you with a loaded question, they deserve to get your full blown blunt comment.
