Hi
The best thing to do, is to go to a store and either get a free consultation or go and test a few on your neck ,dont be shy about asking for samples ,most counters hold samples of foundation that you can even take away and use it usually has enough for a few days applications) and this way you can decide which is best for you the free way. Also if you try them on in the shop, come out side and leave for an hour ...see it in outside light too.see if the colour suits and that its not caused any irritation.
I could sit here and name makes all day but foundation is one thing that you need to discover what suits you as everyone is different shades etc. Best of luck.. Hope this helps xxxxxxx

I would go for something oil free, to prevent clogged pores etc... Personally, I use the Dream Matte Mousse foundation. It goes on smooth and depending on how much you wear it can cover almost all blemishes, and isn't as messy as liquid foundations. It's also cheap, about 8 dollars. Apply a loose powder after to set the foundation, and make it stay on longer. Good luck :)

it all depends on your skin type. If your skin is oily, i would go with a powder oil free foundation like MAC studio fix. If your skin is oily AND acne prone, i would go with loreal HIP, mac studio fix fluid or mac oil free foundation. If your skin is dry or mature, MAC studio tech or loreal dream matte mouse is great. I tried bare essentials and it made my skin look ashy. As far as color matching goes, I loved Loreal HIP. They have everyshade in red and yellow undertones so that you get the right tone formula. It is affordable as well and a little bit goes a long way.

If your skin is fairly even toned, you may want to go with a tinted moisturizer or a pressed powder just to give a finished look.

How old are you? Maybe you are too young to start using foundation. Try using a bit of concealer where needed and try to keep it natural.

Bare Essentuals is the best ever.

It looks so natural. You can try it out for free at Ulta or Sephora.

It's a little pricey - but so worth it and it lasts a long time.
