Do I believe that people have magical powers?! Yes and no. No because 'magic' does not exist. I refer to magic as Harry Potter or fairy tales kind of magic. Unfortunately, it's impossible for it to exist. Such a thing would defy every single law of physics.

But what I do believe in is the power of the human mind. I believe our minds, possibly our subconcious, are connected together. The thing is to learn how to control this connection. The people who have these abilities, either from birth or learning, are what are known as empaths, or telepaths. Also, these skills are present in our daily lives too. Our intuition is a great example. Perhaps, the female intuition is because females are more in touch with this part of their minds.

All of us were born with powerful magical powers. However, these are not the kind most people hope they have (can fly, can disappear, etc). No.

But it is a different kind of power, which we seldom use. Try and practice these, and see what kind of magic they can do to you and others:

1. When you walk pass someone on the street, give him/her a big sincere smile. Magically, he/she will smile back at you, eventhough you both never met before.

2. Go to one of your friend, and tell him/her, "You look really good (or beautiful, if a she) today." See how he/she changes, you just cast your magic and set his heart to feel happy.

3. Go to your Mum and Dad, and without saying anything, give them a big warmest hug. Then tell him/her, "I love you, and thank you for your love to me." Watch what happens to them as the result of your magic.

4. When someone make a mistake to you, and he/she comes to you apologizing, accept it and tell him/her, "It's allright. I forgive you. Please forget it." Say it a smile.

Love and forgiveness are the two most powerful magic God gave to us, human (God did not grant it to animals or plants, strictly for human beings).

Use them and practice them oftenly, and you will see another magic happening. People will start to love you unconditionally. You start to draw people to you, to a point you have too many friends who love you.

I know, because I experience it myself. I am a living evidence how these magic work.

Good luck, wizard!

Dear, if you really had such powers you could quit school and go into business granting people's wishes and foretelling the future. Come out of fantasy land and into the real world. You have NO powers, magical or otherwise.

I do in the sense that I believe that people are capable of far more than they give themselves credit for. I believe that people should develop and trust their intuition more. Great intuition--that you trust and actually use--is like a magical power. It would always help you to do the right thing.

I looked up exactly what the word magic meant in the online dictionary and after considering all the different definitions I still come to the same conclusion. No

I *wish* people had magical powers, life would sure be a lot more interesting, but unfortunately your friends are right. Still, that doesn't mean you can't amaze them with a few clever card tricks, if you make the effort to learn the basic skills.

Can you imagine life without it?
Magic in terms of having mystical powers that define logic, and that cant be proven other than it had to be some divine or evil interference to make something possible. Then yes i do believe, is there enough out there to make me not.

I think many people have access to the "forbidden" arts, as it were.. If you ever want to read a really good book that talks about the powers that people have forgotten, look up "Catastrophobia"..it has a lot of references to cultures of the past that knew how to channel energies.
