I think that it is normal for one to feel as if they have made a mistake of breaking up especially after being together for so long. Just remember if you are happier being apart from him then it is better to stay that way. Your happiness is most important.

Good for you. Your lucky you have the strenght to do what you feel after a 6 year realtionship. Why be stuck in something you are not happy in. Of course you are going to have roller coaster feelings, he is what you are use to and it is probably hard to for you to imagine your life without him. After some time goes by and you move on with your life, find new activities you will see that you will be so much happier and glad that you were able to make such a choice. Good luck.

If you are in a relationship, you should not worry about 50/50. You're happiness is supposed to come from knowing you did things for the other person and knowing that they are happy. It's not a soccer game. There is no score for he did this she did that.

I think what you're feeling is normal and is a valid reason for ending the relationship. If it's not working, it's not working...and you should be able to tell after 6 years. Good luck and I wish you the best!

Yes it normal. You been with this person for six years. There is soul tie with this guy.It will take time for you to get over him.Go and have a good cry over him and then wash your face and look in the mirror and tell yourself a new life is now beginning.Hang out with your girls and have a good time because that what you need to help you through this process. The world has not end and you not the only who has gone through this.Welcome to the club.It will be alright.

Yes, absolutely normal We think, "will there ever be someone else...is what I have better than nothing...Am I making a mistake....am I making too much of ?? AND on and on and on. IF you feel this way, just walk. IF you make a mistake, you'll know soon enough, and if you cannot repair a mistake, then he was ready anyway. Good luck

abolutely, you wouldn't be normal if you didn't have feelings about it because this has been 6 years of your life. these feelings though don't mean that it isn't supposed to happen. if it is meant to be then it will be but go your separate ways--you will never know if you don't--you are making a mature decision.

Absolutely. It's tough to end something so comfortable that you've been accustomed to for so long... You'll always second-guess yourself. Trust your gut and make yourself happy.
