While sex is safe all the way through the end of term (assuming no complications), you're going to be more uncomfortable on your back for anything, including sex, as your tummy gets bigger.
Rear entry worked for my wife and I as she got into the 8-9 month range of her term (all 3 times).

How to enjoy sex while pregnant? I'm not a woman, but i've been told it's better while pregnant since you don't need to worry about getting pregnant. Seems kinda dumb, but i've been told it a lot.
As for which positions are best...her on top is always good since you can control the penetration and your sexy belly isn't in the way. Doggy style is another great option for late in pregnancy.

My wife was afraid of vaginal sex during pregnancy, so she asked me for the alternative route and she liked it.
