some b@st@rd ran into my back bumper when they were parking and left some scratches and a small dint on my back bumper. my car is maroon, ive only had it for 2 weeks. they have red marks on there front bumper. i took down the license plate number and left them a note and my number. not like they will call but to let them know i know they bumped my sh!t! its not bad but the scratch is down to the base. what else can i do? i took pics with my cam phone but they didnt come out to great. this happened at work. i noticed it when i took my break. why would they park in a small space at the end of someones driveway?

yep #1 is right contact Ur insurance company, and tell them what happened, give them all the information about what happened, and the other car. and then they will sort it out, it what they are there for

y do u leave them a note y not just surprise that? people do that because they think they are sensational drivers with their huge hummers that can fit into a place where a little scooter can fit. it happens all the time here. and people double park and they dont even get tickets because no cops around. and then accidents occur and the double parked idiots say "its not my fault , learn to drive"

Report it with the insurance company. Chances are that you might end up paying for most/all of it depending upon the damage assessment and collision deductible.

You can get body filler and touch-up paint, and try to patch up those scratches. Good luck. Be sure your touch-up paint matches your car's make and year -- best to get that from your car dealer.
