Mine would be a classless hunger-free society without racial or sexual bigotry where the arts flourished and space exploration was a priority.

Agree with you including the space exploration and would like to add nature-friendly. I think we take nature for granted for way too much.

Why would anyone want to live in a near perfect world? How boring would that be to have no obstacles to overcome? All the most popular art forms today deal with hunger, racism, bigotry, etc. They would just go away. I prefer to do the best I can in the real world, the one that we actually live in.

I agree with you completely, and would also add that I want to see an end to what I call ‘oppression of the erotic’. The common belief that erotic desire is sinful, dirty, anti-spiritual, etc., is a poison to our souls. People in a more perfect society should not be ashamed of their bodies, or offended by the erotic bodies of other people. It would be a completely clothing-optional world in which heterosexual life-long monogamy was NOT the only socially-respected from of relationship.

I would also agree with clear-n-content’s comment about nature-friendly. The earth is not to be dominated or exploited, but loved, cared for, and respected.

I have to agree with you except the space exploration point. While is is important I think building and rebuilding what we already have should be a priority. Also, not destroying the earth and better utilizing it's resources is key.

A theocracy. A true one would have all the benefits you describe.
