Could the public's willingness to believe that Bush was behind the 911 attacks be related to the phony claims about the reasons why we went to war?

They never found WMD in Iraq, and i would suggest to all to watch the video posted below no matter side you happen to belive. You could even watch the movie everybody's gotta learn. watching the first 15 minutes will get the point across. We might never know what's really going or whats happening. But if your to nieve to think something's going on (no matter what it is) then your blind.

Before 9/11 we had the UN weapons inspectors in Iraq and they couldn't find anything. After 9/11 they were still there and still couldn't find anything. The tone of the White House's replies made it very clear that it didn't matter if they found anything because they had to be there and we were going to war. That is an entirely separate issue from 9/11 since Bush had made up his mind long before 9/11 that we were going to Iraq. If you go back and review newspapers before 9/11, you'll see it, too.

9/11 may not have been a setup, but it bothers me a lot that Bin Laden has not been caught. We will only know for sure if Bin Laden is caught and able to talk. It is rather convenient that 9/11 seems to have been put into the works by Bin Laden after Bush came into office. Unless a connection between Bin Laden and the White House is proved, we must assume innocence. On the other hand, the White House could have deliberately ignored warnings that an attack was in the works to "wake up" the American people.

No. Only a very, very small part of the public believes that false accusation. I am no Bush lover, but I hate false accusations even more. Everyone, Republicans, Democrats and many other countries, believed that intelligence report that Iraq had WMD's. Then, coincidentally, a third rate dictator like Miramar Qaddafi turns in almost exactly what Hussein was accused of having. Gee, you don't suppose that in the months before we attacked, Hussein might have sent the stuff to his buddy to stash for him do you? Much, much more likely than yet another in the constant stream of accusations against Bush.
Yes, I believe that he is doing everything possible to enrich his oil buddies. That accusation is legit. News flash for all you Bush haters out there - he can't run for president again. It is really years past time to stop campaigning against him.

In what way is it a fashion about oil? We did not take oil from them. We get maximum of our oil from Canada. So how became it a conflict for oil? what's the conflict in Afghanistan over (i'm actual asking because I now not understand. this is not about killing Taliban anymore). what's the conflict in Libya over, we were in no way advised that one. Why did we bypass Uganda?

No, the claim about the WMD was a legitamate claim because it looked very much like they had it. They wouldn't confirm NOT having any and would give us access to the places we thought it was. There is even a report that when we were trying to get sanctioned by the U.N. and our own congress, there were many convoys of 'something' going to Syria from Iraq.
The claim (and it's not recent) that it was a set up was made by idiots who think the tooth fairy is in their closet.

The connection is that GWB is doing everything possible to make his oil baron friends in Texas more wealthy. If it takes creating a reason to go to war with an oil producing nation, that's what it takes.
