I know that filesharing is technially stealing, but what about TV shows that will never be aired again? or Movies that you can't find because they don't have hard copies of them??

There is no generic answer the the question. It depends on the file, what rights you have over it, and if/how it is copyrighted. For example, different TV shows have different restrictions.

well technical since u can record any tv program onto a vcr or get it from a tv capture card.
the only way its wrong is because your not paying the copywrite on it. thats what makes it illgeal ive nothing against copying/sharing files. since if they brought down the prices of the software people would buy it legally.

Every item is free to be shared (duplicated / distributed) by its owner only, unless the owner gives permission to its free duplication and distribution. So file sharing is *most of the time* illegal. No, you cannot even share an item you buy. That copy is only intended for you.

It is STEALING if the item is copywrited.
