I prefer briefs

The leg band on briefs tends to irritate if you are involved in an active or sweaty activity. The boxers or boxer briefs are much less irritating in these situations, so guys lean toward those. Also, briefs can keep "the boys" too warm for good productivity. Sperm counts tend to be higher for boxer wearers than brief wearers.

For me ..., I enjoy the comfort afforded by the roominess.
I also like the style variations that boxers have. My favorite are "The Novelty Fly" by Tommy Hilfiger.Pricey but very nice looking!

I have boxers, briefs,(black ones. in no way tighty whities!) and boxer briefs. i love all of them. It purely relies upon on what i think like wearing. some mornings i am going to easily open the underclothes drawer, close my my eyes and grab the first element in there. I really relish the randomness of it.

I would imagine it's because it allows the "goods" to hang loose and free.
