if an adult ostrich neck is drawn to a scale of 1:48 and a full seahourse is drawn to a scale of 1:1.5 how many seahorses could you fit into the ostrich neck? Thanks for your help

The answer is not that simple. It depends on the size and species of the ostrich, and the size and species of the seahorse. How many 2/3-size seahorses could you fit into 1/48 of an ostrich neck. That's the question, and the answer is it depends.

i'm not sure.. do u just divide 48 by 1.5? if we are assuming 1 is like 1 inch or something.

it's 32 1.5 plus 1.5 = 3 divide 48 by 3 = 16 x 2 because you start off with half of 3 so takes twice as much = 32
