I feel like I'm taking a big risk here, like I would be stoned to death if I actually said this out loud. She seems to be a great person and all, but god, enough is enough already. I can't be alone in the way I feel , people, tell me I'm not alone!!!

Oprah drives me crazy. She does do good things but I am sick of seeing her face on the cover of every one of her magazines looking suprized that she made the cover. I do not watch her show, never have, but have boycotted her after her interview with James frey.
Plus i do not want to hear about her diet tips..she has a personal chef and a personal trainer with whom she works out with 6 HOURS a day..and she has no kids.
I am sick of it too. But your right, it feels like you will be asassinated if you say it out loud =)

No. Oprah let her money go to her head, as most people do (not all but most). She did not always talk that way. Now she tries to sound like she was raised by the Queen of England (minus the English accent). She also picks friends that act the same as her (yes, I said act because she is not being her true self). Oprah has become who she obviously dreamed of becoming. I don't know who that was, but she is it now.

When Oprah still had feelings (or when she pretended to) I liked her. But now she is very much into herself, and I stopped watching her years ago.

I like Montel, he really gets in there and gets dirty to try to help people. Montel's shows are also educational and informative.

I like Dr. Phil too (though many people don't) because he is truthful, stern, but truthful. He calls 'em like he sees 'em and sometimes that is what you have to do to start the healing process.

You are not alone.

Nothing sets my teeth on edge more than any female in my family or circle of acquaintances who will cite something they've heard on Oprah as though it's the gospel truth and whoever doesn't agree with it should be condemned to hell for all eternity because, after all, Oprah is the most loving, caring, compassionate person in the universe and has seen it all, done it all, and knows it all!

yeah a big risk why do't you just go to the nearest trailer park and scream country music and walmart suck.I happen to like oprah she does alot of charity work and she came from being dirt poor she is the american dream and all it stands for she has earned the right to be everywhere and she's a woman fighting for what she believes in and how many pedifiles has she helped to put away? How many people watch her and for how long she has made it through 20 some odd years is it? there is a reason for that!

Yeah --she's unable to be teachable anymore and it is how she was so likeable. Now she has a pre-formed idea about her guests and the topics and can't let any more info in.

And noone will call her on it because she's a whole corporation now.

Man --I have been holding that in for a long time.

You are not alone. I'm sick of seeing her face. If she really wants to help people, that's fine. I can't stomach an episode of the Oprah show to save my soul.

I don't watch the show, but what about Jerry Springer? Ain't that crazy or what? I don't hate Opera, I just don't care.

I kind of disagree with you guys. You may perhaps have to elaborate what exactly you don't like about her. The best way to elaborate this is if you could sum it up in five points.

She does alot of good things as far as charity and all, but I can't stand her. She comes off as very pompous.
