The ultimate question is a fusion of the fantastic, most interesting and occasionally magic subject matter, the possible answers and solotuions to which, will excercise the very fabric of brain matter of whoever and whatever considers, prehaps ponders this query whilst also having the ability to stretch the imagination to the point of invention and possibly eventually leading to one of life's few genuine eureka! moments or in other forms leading prehaps to a life changing fire to ignite within an individual thus preventing their mistrust and unhappiness in a world, that until the moment of the question was asked, didnt seem to care whether such individuals lived or died. Regardless of all that forms this question and populates its very excistence only a single thing really matters to us all:............"What Is The Ultimate Question?".........what a brilliant question to ask and what topical, thoughtful brilliant answers will it provide? I sit and wait in eager anticipation. :-)

Actually there are three ultimate and unanswerable questions
How did the initial big mass of matter came into existence from empty space (concerning big bang theory)?
How did the organisms, with their multifarious variety of life functions, evolved from the organic compounds (Biosynthesis)?
Why is there so much difference of intellectual abilities between humans and all other organisms?
