Irksome - I think you hit it dead-on. I really don't think too highly of her whenever I see her on TV or in magazines because she just looks strange. It is probably what you said though, I'd like to see her in person.

I was fairly unimpressed with her until I saw her in person at a hotel in Manhattan Beach a few weeks ago and did a literal double-take. She looks *phenomenal* in person. Absolutely, ridiculously phenomenal.
At the same time, I don't think she's photogenic AT ALL. Some people just do not look good on camera, and she's one of them.

She's looked upon as pretty because she plays tennis. If she wasn't a tennis player and just your average person on the street she wouldn't get attention. She is cute and sexy for a tennis player but not a model.
