I don't hate America, although I do not like our government or how it works. It seems like were not happy unless we are sticking our noses into some other country's business and telling them how to live.
Seems to me that we need to pay more attention to our own country and the people in it and spend our money at home instead of trying to support the whole world and we would be alot further ahead.
Talk about our country, Just turn on the news sometime and take a look, crooked politicians, crooked law enforcement, from the top on down, seems like we need to worry about right here.
This country and our government needs to wake up.

It's not Bush.
In Europe everybody opposes America, because that is perceived as "cool", though damned irresponsible. In Muslim countries because peer pressure and political police do not allow for other outlets of protest. It is always safe to oppose America, sometimes dangerous to agree with America. In other countries like Venezuela or Cuba, China or Russia, sheer political calculation makes the day. Sometimes, American politics and values are simply misunderstood.
On the other hand disagreement with the American Govt does not imply hate. Many Americans disagree with their own Govt, and they are free to do so.

There is a long laundry list of reasons as to why America is disliked by many around the world ranging from simple jealousy for being the richest country in the world, to the arrogance that (we) Americans display as we visit those countries.
We Americans tend to forget when we are traveling in groups in foreign lands as tourists, or for sporting events or whatever, that we are "guests" of that country but we tend to "party" just a little too loudly wherever we are and the "locals" really don't appreciate it. So, this also gives America a bad name.
Many people don't hate Americans per se, but hate our government for it's perceived "bullying" tactics in telling other governments how to conduct it's elections in order to increase the possibility of electing democratic leaders that are more "in-keeping" with America's policies.
Then there are the radical Islamic fundamentalists around the world who truly "hate" America (all in the name of "Allah") because we are considered the Infidels and America is the "great Satan" that they feel is there god-given duty to eradicate from the face of the earth with their "Jihad" thing.

No dumba**, they are saying they don't hate America, they hate Bush. And they didn't vote him back in, he lost the second election too (problems found in the Ohio election, including that some Democrats votes were changed to Republican). But when you are angling to be emperor, you can't let a little thing like losing get in the way of your winning.

I live in the UK and I don't hate America. If I was in a war I know who I would rather stand shoulder to shoulder with when faced with a choice between American and many other EU countries.

I don't hate America. And I don't hate President Bush. What I do hate is stupid questions that ask why "everybody" hates someone or something.
I mean... did YOU yourself ask everyone if they hate America!?

They hate America becuase people say things that they have no evidence to back up. Just like when you say you saw a video of the plane crash at the pentagon - please say where you saw that, because I can't find ANY evidence of wrecked plane parts in the videos I've studied.
Please don't spread rumors and lies, and we will regain our respect.

I think more people are JEALOUS of America/Americans than hate them. Those who truly "hate" America simply don't have enough education to think for themselves. Also, if so many people hate America, why are they mobbing our borders/seaports and Airports to GET IN!!!!?????
